Refund Policy
Effective September 27, 2026
Paid Readings on Lunatokkie Tarot (Three Cards and Celtic Cross) are digital content that AI starts writing as soon as you pay. Here is how the operator of Lunatokkie Tarot ("we," "us") handles cancellations and refunds.
Contents
At a glance
- Before you pay: you can see the cards you drew and their positions for free. One-card Readings are free, 1 per day.
- Before your Reading letter is finished: you may cancel within 7 days of payment. If you delete the Reading before its letter is finished, we cancel the payment in full automatically.
- After your Reading letter is finished: cancellation is limited (Article 17(2)(5) of Korea's E-Commerce Act).
- If we can't write your Reading: we retry automatically, and if it still can't be written, we cancel the payment in full automatically usually within minutes and no later than about 48 hours after payment — you don't need to ask.
- If the Reading isn't as described: you may cancel within 3 months of delivery and within 30 days of finding out.
What you can see before paying
You pay for a Reading only after all your cards are drawn and revealed. Before paying, you can see which card landed in which position (for example, past, present, and future) and whether it is upright or reversed. A free one-card Reading also shows you what a Reading letter looks like.
We do this so you know exactly what you're buying, since cancellation of digital content is limited once it's delivered (Article 17(6) of the E-Commerce Act).
When delivery starts
Writing begins right after payment. Delivery happens when your Reading letter is finished — that is, when it becomes available at your Reading's link, even if you haven't opened it. If you closed the page, delivery still starts once the Reading is finished.
When cancellation is limited
Once your Reading letter is finished, the digital content has been delivered, so cancellation is limited under Article 17(2)(5) of the E-Commerce Act. We tell you this at checkout, before you pay.
Not liking how the cards were interpreted isn't, on its own, a reason for a refund. We'd still love to hear what felt off — it helps us improve.
If we can't write your Reading — automatic cancellation
If your Reading can't be written after you pay, the Service retries on its own several times. If it still can't be written, we cancel the payment in full without you having to ask — no later than about 48 hours after payment, even if you closed the page or never come back.
The cards already revealed stay visible, and your Reading page will show that the payment was canceled. How long the refund takes to reach your card or payment method is described under "How long refunds take" below.
The same applies if you delete the Reading (or your account) before its letter is finished: we cancel the payment in full, usually right away and no later than about 48 hours, and send a cancellation notice to your payment email.
If the Reading isn't as described
If a Reading differs from what we described or advertised, or from what was agreed, you may cancel even after the letter is finished: within 3 months of delivery, and within 30 days of when you found out or could have found out (Article 17(3) of the E-Commerce Act).
For example: the Reading covers a different number of cards than you paid for, the letter is empty, or it was written for cards other than the ones you drew.
Purchases by minors
If a minor (under 19 in Korea) paid without a parent's or guardian's permission, the minor or the parent or guardian may cancel the purchase, even after the letter is finished.
This may not apply if the minor misled us into believing they were an adult or had permission, or if the purchase was within spending money their parent or guardian allowed them to use. We may ask for proof of guardianship.
How to request a refund
Contact us by the contact details at the bottom of this site with:
- The email address you used at checkout
- Your order number (in your receipt email and on your paid Reading's page; if you can't find it, the email address you used at checkout is enough)
- Why you'd like to cancel
How long refunds take
- We request the cancellation from the payment provider within 3 business days of confirming your request (Article 18 of the E-Commerce Act).
- Card refunds usually take 3–7 business days to show up, depending on your card issuer. Other payment methods vary.
- If we are late in refunding you, we add the late-payment interest required by law.
