Terms of Service

1. What these terms cover

These terms set out how the Service works, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.

2. The Service

You choose a spread, draw cards, and receive a tarot reading (a "Reading") based on the cards, their positions, and the question you wrote.

• One Card: free, up to 1 per person per day (Korea Standard Time). To prevent abuse, there is also a limit per network.
• Three Cards and Celtic Cross: paid once per Reading.
• Cards are drawn by our server from a randomly shuffled deck when you start. Picking card backs on screen is part of the experience and does not change which cards come up.
• Each finished Reading has its own private link. Anyone who has the link can open that Reading, so please share it with care.

3. Readings are written by AI — for entertainment only

Readings are written by generative AI. They are for entertainment and personal reflection only. They do not predict the future or guarantee any outcome.

• We tell you that Readings are AI-generated before you draw and again below every Reading, as required by Korea's Framework Act on Artificial Intelligence (Article 31).
• Readings are not professional advice. They are not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, tax, or financial advice. Please talk with a qualified professional about important decisions.
• AI-written text can contain statements that are inaccurate or that miss the point of your question.
• If you are going through a hard time, you don't have to face it alone. In the US, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911.

4. Who can use the Service

• You must be at least 14 years old to use any part of the Service, including free one-card Readings and email sign-in.
• If you are a minor under the law that applies to you (under 19 in Korea), you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy a paid Reading. A purchase made without that permission may be canceled by you or your parent or guardian.

5. Accounts and sign-in

• You can use the Service without an account. Your Readings are then linked to a cookie in your browser. If you clear cookies or switch devices, your list of Readings may not appear (each Reading still opens from its link).
• If you sign in with your email, your Readings are kept in your account so you can see them on other devices. Sign-in uses a one-time link sent by email; there are no passwords.
• You are responsible for your email account. If you think someone else has signed in with your email, please let us know right away.
• You can delete Readings or your account any time from My readings.

6. Prices and payment

• Prices for paid Readings are shown when you choose a spread and again at checkout. There are no extra fees beyond the price shown.
• Payments are processed by Toss Payments Co., Ltd. You choose your payment method at checkout.
• Each paid Reading is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
• You pay after all your cards are revealed and before your Reading letter is written.
• On the English site you pay in US dollars while USD payments are available; otherwise you pay in Korean won (KRW).

7. Delivery of digital content

• A paid Reading is digital content under Korea's Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (the "E-Commerce Act").
• Writing begins right after payment. Delivery happens when your Reading letter is finished — that is, when it becomes available at its link, even if you haven't opened it. If you close the page, you can still open the finished Reading from its link or from My readings.
• Before you pay, you can see the cards you drew and each card's position for free, so you know what you are buying.

8. Cancellations and refunds

• Before your Reading letter is finished, you may cancel within 7 days of payment.
• After your Reading letter is finished, cancellation is limited under Article 17(2)(5) of the E-Commerce Act, because the digital content has been delivered. We tell you this before you pay and show you the cards and positions first.
• If we can't write your Reading after you've paid, we retry automatically; if it still can't be written, we cancel the payment in full automatically usually within minutes and no later than about 48 hours after payment — you don't need to ask.
• If a Reading differs from what we described or advertised, or from what was agreed, you may cancel within 3 months of delivery, and within 30 days of when you found out or could have found out (Article 17(3) of the E-Commerce Act).

9. What we ask of you

• Don't use someone else's email or payment method.
• Don't send requests with bots or scripts, or try to get around the free limit.
• Don't copy, distribute, sell, or use our card artwork, card guide text, or pages as AI training data without our permission.
• Don't include anything illegal or anything that violates someone else's rights in your questions.
• Don't interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

If we confirm a violation, we may limit the account or browser involved. We will explain why — in advance when we can, or afterward when we can't.

10. Ownership

• We own the rights to the Service's content, including the card artwork, the card guide, and the design.
• You may keep your Readings for personal use and share their links. Commercial use of Readings or card artwork requires our permission.
• Your questions belong to you. We use them only to write your Readings.

11. Changes to the Service

• We may change features or pages to improve the Service.
• We may pause the Service for maintenance, outages, or events beyond our control. We'll let you know in advance when we can.
• If we shut down the Service, we'll give you 30 days' notice and explain how and until when you can open your Readings. Paid Readings that haven't been delivered will be refunded.

12. Liability

• We are responsible for damage caused by our intentional misconduct or negligence, as provided by law.
• Readings are for entertainment and reflection. Unless we were at fault, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a Reading.
• Unless we were at fault, we are not responsible for failing to provide the Service because of events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or telecom outages.

13. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

• We may update these terms within the limits of the law.
• We'll post changes and their effective date on the Service at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before for changes that are less favorable to you. Signed-in users will also get an email about those changes.
• If you don't agree to the updated terms, you can stop using the Service and delete your account. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you agree to the updated terms.

15. Questions and disputes

• If something goes wrong, please contact us first by the contact details at the bottom of this site. We'll look into it carefully and get back to you.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any lawsuit will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under Korea's Civil Procedure Act. This does not take away any consumer rights you have under the laws of the place where you live.
